🌿To Release, Forgive and Let Go… Did You Buy That Script Too?

For years, I followed the script many of us know by heart: study, build a career, get married, have children, and chase “success” in every area of life.
Until one April morning, with a cup of coffee in my hands, I looked around at the silence of my home, felt the gentle warmth of the sun, and finally embraced my new path — feeling more myself than ever before.
The New Invisible Script
I had spent years trying to “release, forgive, forgive myself, and let go.” That modern script — so well-intentioned, yet so demanding — kept me trapped in the same struggle.
Even after moving to another country and “letting go” of so many things, I was still bound and I have not realise it.
Months later, I finally understood:
The more I tried to release, the tighter I held on. The more I wanted to forgive and forgive myself, the harder I resisted. The more I tried to let go, the more I clung to what was.
Silence as the Doorway
Only when silence took over my mind did I begin to truly see my existence — and feel connected to my true self.
I learned to love who I am, to see my body as the sacred home I inhabit, to make peace with my story — my triumphs, my mistakes, my choices. I embraced every part of my past.
Embracing Instead of Releasing
Today, I no longer follow the script of releasing, forgiving, or letting go.I choose to embrace, discover, and contemplate.
Because everything that has been, is part of me.
I released the script and realised that everything remains — everything has its moment in the universe. I have the power to look at my story through the lens of learning, growth, abundance, and love.
Walking Lightly
To walk lightly is not to leave behind who we were, but to embrace who we truly are.
A Question to Reflect On…
What script are you following today? And what would happen if, instead of letting go, you chose to embrace who you are?
